Queen Esther
The Book of Esther is the fifth and last book of the Megillah which is read each year during the festival of Purim. After King Ahasuerus banishes his Queen, Vashti, a search begins for a new Queen. Esther pleases Ahasuerus so greatly that he makes her his Queen. Mordechai, Esther’s Uncle, wants Esther to use her new position to save her people from the evil Haman, Once his plot is discovered, Ahasuerus kills Haman and elevates Mordechai as Vizier.
